Looking for the creature that is suppose to be in the Bone Borrow for Jonelath's Out on a Limb quest. I didn't find a cave in the bone borrow in the south east corner. Is this the bone borrow below the ancient tree?

go past the harbor and head towards the Red Hammer Tribe encampment (there'll be a lot of goblin catapults hurling stuff at you.)
The cave is near the river on the left side when you pass the goblins, before you turn the bend. there will be piles of bones near the door.

There's no cave. I searched that area. I found the Red Hammer Shire and started looking. I cleaned out that cove of goblin huts and no cave entrance. I looked where the large bones are under the ancient tree and no cave.

It's past the tree and the goblin settlement. on the left side of the river
check your map, there should be an 'door/entrance' icon past the Shrine.

I looked for the past two days. No cave. The map only adds the door/entrance icon when you have found the door.. I found Camp Victory teleporter but no cave. The only cave entrance I see is one beyond the barrier and broken airship in the middle of the river.

From what I heard you can destroy the barrier by destroying 4 nests around it...

The cave you want is the one just east of the crashed zeppelin in the water, in the southern part of the Red Hammer tribe area.

For the goblin barrier in D2:ED, there were 4 ballistas with a blue lightning effect around them that you needed to destroy; one was just inside the barrier, but could be taken out with Dragon Burst or maybe Dragon Breath (Fire Spheres were blocked by the barrier).

Does anyone know the name of the cave that the Ultimate Creature is in?

Thank you all!! I finally found it. It was behind the second barrier. I kept thinking that is must not be the one because it was so far down stream and you had go through alot to get to it compared to the other tasks. But I got it.

i never got that far in the original Ego Dragonis, so i didn't know about the barriers. why did they remove them in DKS?

The same reason they removed most of the anti-dragon shields and generators in the flying fortresses; some people had trouble or complained about them, and they were not really essential.

I liked the shields. It added some challenge
