OP and Twilight really need to play Divine Divinity...Divine Divinity basically offers you complete freedom which may come as a surprise after playing DKS. In Divine Divinity, you can kill innocent townsfolk, freely the explore the huge world (which is quite a big world, bigger than DKS's world, I'm 15 hours in and have only scratched the surface of the world and still...I haven't even tackled the main quest that much), interact with any object, pick up any object and you can even get your own house (or steal one if the owner...dies) and then put down a teleportor stone in it and then call it your home.

You can also sleep in beds and the dialogue is just as great as dialogue from DKS.

Divine Divinity is the first Divinity game BTW. Combat is more strategic too. It's my game of the year (despite it being released in 2002) and certainly one of the best RPGs I have played for some time.

DKS and The Dragon Knight are good but they are children compared to Divine Divinity and its hero. Seriously, you have to save very often because you never expect what could happen next, you could touch a magical object which teleports you half way across the world into the middle of an orc camp and if you're lv 5, consider yourself dead as a giant orc warrior with a two handed axe charges over to you.
