All I need for this is how to find the two gems. I tried looking online but it kept saying buy it at the store in Broken Valley, which it's too later for that. So please someone help me with this.

If you have no Malachite Gems (or only 1) you simply must wait and see if you can find/buy some Malachite Gems later on in the game ...

Tip:
if you wish to finish this quest, search your way to High Hall where you can find Beatrice and do a quest for her ! Then you can get 4 Malachite Gems in one time as reward for that quest wink

Easiest thing to do is check my guide for Dragon Knight Saga (linked in my signature) and search for:

15.1 - MALACHITE GEMS (EGO DRACONIS)

That'll list all the gems you can get. The first few are out of your grasp, but the others (and Ore Veins) should be doable.

Just so you know, that quest isn't necessary. The gems are far more useful for enchanting than the random piece of jewelry you get for the quest.

This quest rewards 2 skill points on top of a hefty EXP and gold reward. That's not a bad trade-off at all.

I did not know that. I completed it but didn't see anything about skill points and reloaded.

That does make it reasonable.

Funny it´s seen as ´worth it´ (getting 2 malachites instead of 2 skill points) with the enchanters (Wesson, Radcliffe) in your guide though... or did I read that wrong?
Or is the sinle update (vs 2) along with the malachites the factor here?

Where do I say it's "worth it" to take 2 malachite gems over 2 skill points?

In ED, I suggested to go with Wesson, because Radcliff only gets you 1 Skill Book instead of the 2 Wesson does. On top of that, if you choose Radcliff, you can trade his gem away for 2 Malachite Gems, at the cost of the single Skill Book he rewards. So in that case, you'd either choose Wesson for 2 skill points, or Radcliff for 2 Malachite Gems, but I always try and leave that decision up to the player, although in most cases I'll say the skill points are more valuable. The benefit level 10 enchantments offer over level 9 aren't worth 1 skill point in ED, so you only need a few Malachite Gems, really, and if you want enough to enchant a lot of stuff... I'd call it a waste.

In DKS, Radcliff gives 2 Skill Books (same as Wesson) regardless of whether you do the trade for 2 Malachite Gems or not, although that trade still denies you both upgrades to the Workshop.

You'll have to point out exactly where I suggest getting 2 Malachite Gems is more valuable than 2 skill points. In any case, Sight for Sore Eyes definitely gives 2 skill points, and has in all versions of the game.

I must have gotten the ED and DKS guide confused, I thought it was mentioned giving the gem away to the Goblins made you no longer get skillpoints, yet you advised to do so in your DKS guide.
But yeah, if it gives 2 skillpoints instead of 0, it's definitely a good deal to get these gems.

I recommended choosing Radcliff as your enchanter in DKS because he always gives 2 Skill Books now, you get to keep Raze's Cuirass instead of giving it away, and it presents the opportunity to trade 1 possible upgrade for your Workshop for 2 Malachite Gems. I didn't recommend doing the gem trade, just that it's one possible perk for choosing Radcliff over Wesson.

Since neither Enchanter offers a unique features in and of themselves, their quests are the entirety of the choice (outside of aesthetics, like personality). At least with others, you choose one feature over the other (melee vs. magic armor for Necromancers, allan brew vs. free potions for Alchemist, and melee vs. magic skill discounts for Skill Trainer).
