One of the main things I love about this game (aside from turning into a dragon, of course, which I have been waiting to do in a game for a long time) is the fact that it rewards exploration. You can kill bounties, for example, before even taking the quest and you don't have to do it over and you don't lost it.
So, anyways, onto my thing. Shortly after taking down the barrier in the Fjords, I was having fun being a dragon for a bit and burned down every hut in the Red Hammer Tribe. The voice in my head said they would probably refer to me as the scourge from now on, but I thought nothing of it.
After going to the entrance for the tribe to being the quest "A Shaman's Ransom", I was greeted by a Goblin who begged me not to burn him and said they don't want to fight me, and delivered a message for me to see their leader (who I am supposed to kill for the quest).
Does this always happen, or is it because I burned down the entire village, as opposed to just taking out the ballistas and entering the cave?
I was just curious.

Thought so, after I read you could change the quest to kill the Champion instead of the Goblin. Oh, well. Thought I had discovered something. Just have to continue on my journey.

You mean the cave nearby the Red Hammer Scrine ? The cave where you can also find the blue teleporter a little bit higher on that montain side ... I think it's the Svadivari Cave (?)

You can burn down all the Goblin Hut's and Ballista's of the Red Hammer Tribe ... go into the cave and spare the Goblins so you can have an extra trader, Timpuk smile !

I don't remember I can still trade with Timpuk when I go further into the cave (passing Timpuk, going to Svadivari (for the quest)), but I think Timpuk become angry and attack me so I loose a nice trader with him frown ...
So, if you love trading, don't go for the quest, but wait as long as possible.

Timpuk have great things you can buy, like for example Yewellery with Skillpoints on, and many more ... laugh !

I got in the cave sparring all huts and towers (saving them when going to the hall of echoes for max. XP, since Dragon Targets never downscale XP) and he still mentioned that to me.
