High up on the southweshern cliffs in the Goblin city (found in the southeast of Orobas Fjords) is a cave entrance. Svadilfari is in there. Whether you destroy the goblin forces on the surrounding cliffs first is up to you, however you'll probably fare better if you destroy them.
And when you go into Svadilfari's Cave you can choose to spare the Goblin's and you can have a extra trader "Timpuk" which has nice gear etc ... !

Well, yeah, but just to be clear -
Only so long as 1) You haven't received the Svadilfari quest (A Shaman's Ransom) from Aurelius. or 2) You have received it, are planning to kill Svadilfari, but have NOT talked to him. or 3) You have received it, accepted Svadilfari's offer to kill Aurelius but have NOT talked to after Aurelius is dead.

I didn't wrote it here because it's up to the gamer to find it out
I take the quest of Aurelius, but so far did not go to Svadilfari, did not go beyond Timpuk .
