I've just come out of Orobas' tomb, crypt, cell or whatever the designation is, and now have to fight the Power Rangers (or the dragon slayer equivalent there of). First battle, insta-stunned, vollyed to death with magic. Go back a save, spawn creature and ranged demon, roll back and hide behind a bit of wall briefly. Get rushed, die.

Does anyone have some tips for this battle? I tried charming one of them, but he was resistant. Think I'm underlevelled for the fight, or have just misspent my points :S

The fight is tough, no doubt about it.
You have a save before entering?

Otherwise turn tail, turn dragon and don't return till much later.

That is a tough fight in DKS; see character help.

What level are you?

If you are not already playing on casual, have you tried lowering the difficulty?

Do you have any temporary start/armour boost potions? Before turning in the quest you may be able to teleport back to the battle tower to make some (after completing the quest the dragon stone might be disabled until the fight with the dragon terror patrol is over.

Aah, it's all good, I was able to hit U and ninja back to the battle tower where my trainer kindly respecced me, went back and Mage'd the stuffing out of them!

Cheers for the welcome Raze, I just killed your name sake on one of the floating fortresses. Popped a good two levels going through all that laugh

As for "You have a save before entering?" - I have saves everywhere laugh Quick save before any door that looks like it's got a loading screen and 'hard' save before anything where I might quick save my self into a corner, so to speak.

A few more flying fortresses, and off to Aleroth I go!

I went to Aleroth as soon as I was able, to get access to a couple decent traders there (though I put off doing the main plot quest with Zandalor until I finished nearly everything else).

i just have to wonder, while they're striking their Ginyu Forces poses, why can't you bumrush them and slaughter them while they're scrambling to equip their gear?

i just try to open with an Explosive Arrow and Fireball, with my Demon and Creature distracting the swordman, while i go after the archers. i hate their stun arrows...

That battle becomes much easier if you jump back as soon as it starts and hide behind the big wall. Save.
From there, you can start your battle and pick them up one by one (or even escape far enough). Having summoned creatures here helps a lot. They die fast but you still can take out one enemy or lose some mass-damage into the group.

Getting frozen with all five of them having a line of sight to you is pretty often certain death.

ok this a tough battle but you can win it. the problem seems to be the RANGER his bow attacks can kill you in four shots (first one is a poison arrow and the second and explosive one doing 125 DMG!)

a solution is: jump over the gap on your right and run to the right until the end then only one of them will follow you kil him/her first then walk back slowly until the second comes out kil it and so on and you'll have no problem killing them all. key ingredient here is PATIENCE and kill them off one by one

I've had it happen the ranger did 1600(!) damage, while my HP is 500. Obviously a bug, though I had many levels on them, and by letting my summons (pet, demon) distract them I could kill them all before they targetted me.

Here's a little something that some of you may not have known, and this little bit of information can help, depending on the player.

During the dialog with the 5 of them, they tell you that one of them swallowed a charm to prevent you from turning into a dragon and flying away, if you single out the person who swallowed it (his name starts with an 'M' I think...) and kill him, for the first and only time in the game, you'll be able to kill ground units in dragon form, of course they're Wizards and Rangers will still be able to hit you as a dragon, but it should even the odds a little.

I hope this little bit of info helped you guys who were having trouble with this a little more.
