You know what else Divine Divinity has that Divinity 2 doesn't? The feel of a true fantasy world. Venturing in the dwarfen hall and meeting the King of dwarfs truly gave the feel of a world populated with different races. It felt like Dragon Age: Origins (I only played Divine Divinity this year) where you go over the land meeting the different races and groups.
I mean you also make friends and enemies in Divine Divinity and there's actually a reputation system and even with a low reputation, you can still have friends. This is what I liked. I hope "Project E" has all the features Divine Divinity has. If it does then it will be the best RPG of 2012.
