In order to increase my chances of getting a solution for the problem, I also posted in this section, even though I´m not too good with english.
I´ve played Beyond Divinity for a while with administrative rights and in compatibility mode for Win98. For some reason, I can´t start the game anymore. Either I get the message "Error opening TGA Image" or "unable to read configuration file - exiting".
I browsed the internet for a solution and found some comments about a config.div-file, which might be associated to videoplayers and can no longer be opened properly. I can´t say, if that´s the reason for the problems, but the file config.div is associated with "Divx Plus Player".
A reinstall didn´t help and I´m out of options. Does someone have an idea about how to make this game playable again?

AMD 790GX Hexacore
8 GB Ram
Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit
ATI Radeon 4850
P.S.: I´m using the german version 1.47 from Gold Games 9.
