From Lancet's excellent walkthtough ( http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/998546-divinity-ii-the-dragon-knight-saga/faqs/62264) Path (Moss Rat): -Return to the first floor of the academy, then put on the HOS and look to the west. What was previously a walled-in doorway is now open! Head down into the dungeon. -Take the HOS off and head across the planks along the north side of the chasm in the center of the room. When you reach the locked door, turn around. -Put the HOS on, jump on the glowing platform, then onto a piece of rock on the north wall. -Take the HOS off, and jump along the platforms that are only visible without the helmet. Jump to another piece of rock on the north wall after the third platform. -Put the HOS on once more, and jump across the glowing platforms to a ledge on the south wall. -Take the HOS off, and jump up the two visible platforms. Claim the Moss Rat from the cage. (get Moss Rat)

What is a HOS ?
Is this an abbreviation of "Hose" (English : trousers) ?

Replace 'HOS' by 'trousers' and that walkthrough bit becomes pretty funny. I knew we should have had the Trousers of Secrets!
I am in blood Stepp'd in so far, that, should I wade no more, Returning were as tedious as go o'er.

Nah, "Trousers of Mystery" is better.
HOS is "helm of secrets" the quest item that you get after fighting some skeletons in the Academy.

I knew we should have had the Trousers of Secrets! Given what the Helmet of Secrets does to your vision, I'd be afraid of trying on the Trousers of Secrets. The skeleton guarding the chest wasn't half blind because he didn't have the helmet on, but because he wore it too much. I hope projects D and E don't use any blur effects, either for performance or aesthetic reasons.

I'll keep it in mind! Though Raze has a point: you don't want any heavy swirling going on down there – unless you're into that kind of thing of course.

I hope projects D and E don't use any blur effects, either for performance or aesthetic reasons. I don't mind blur effects... but that Helmet was just nauseating... (saying that, I do turn things like Motion Blur or Bloom off in any game where I actually get the option to do so...)
