I knew we should have had the Trousers of Secrets! 
Given what the Helmet of Secrets does to your vision, I'd be afraid of trying on the Trousers of Secrets. The skeleton guarding the chest wasn't half blind because he didn't have the helmet on, but because he wore it too much.
I hope projects D and E don't use any blur effects, either for performance or aesthetic reasons.
