Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Can't seem to use my bow...

Ive been playin for about 2-3 hours now n it seems like all i can do is shoot a poison arrow yet i can't seem to shoot any arrows... Is this some kind of glitch??? People said i should be able to when i push the A button aslong as the bow is equipped but i got nothin... This seems like a pretty ridiculous glitch if its not me just being a dumb*** lol

Oh & btw im playin on the 360

Do you have 'ranged attack' assigned to the A button?

Hold down the A button for a couple seconds and re-assign it, and see if that gets normal arrows going, or try assigning the ranged attack to a different button.


BTW, your character should automatically switch between a bow and melee weapons as required when you use a melee or ranged attack / skill.

You know... It occured to me that after playing this game for the whole day that after dying once that i had lost 4 hours & 45 minutes of gameplay... Im 25 yrs old & ive been finishing drywall for 12 years n working in a barn n raising chickens n taking care of old people. Even someone as backwoods as myself would think that maybe there would be common sense n having an autosave feature atleast right after going through one of the shrines. I understand that making a game in general might be a miracle all in its self but even still this is the lamest excuse in a video game ive ever seen... Ive never been avalanched by so many glitches in my life. How many game developers were involved in the making of this game & how many of them were smoking pot? Im so sorry for your loss but this game needs to be buried & forgotten... May it rest in pitiful little pieces... I was having so much fun till the orchestra of glitches butt raped my game

There are auto saves, and you can save yourself whenever you wish.

Yes... an auto save from even further back then 4 hours n 45 minutes... i played a lil more n now im stuck in a room in the tower with Carlin... The door i used to get in is now locked & i can't get out. Is there a trick to this or a glitch???

There are buttons on the walls, most of which trigger minor traps. One of them will cause an item you need to appear and opens the door.
