this is true, but you have to beat the lich there first. The sword nearby can sometimes be very cool (at least mine was, i know its random).

i dont have a picture but there is usualy one skill book (prob random) at the backroom of the mage in ars magicana.

There is also one restoration book in de ars magicana sewers(?). You need telekenisis on this one.

No screenshots, but see also Free skills, and spell books you can buy.

There is also a withering curse book in Iona's dunguen its hidden bihind a lot of crates and it seems the room behind it is filled with skill books.
But when you enter the room you will be teleporten to the hause of insanitie wichts you can escape by sleeping in one of the beds(just as the scary voise said....Sleep Sleep....).

you'l be telportet back to the room but only one book lies there FEAR or whitereing cuse. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

There is also a book of restoration in the (I believe) NW corner of Verdistis sewers. You will need telekinesis to get it. There are also some potions nearby. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mage.gif" alt="" />

i know of a summon skeleton book in the sewers but i cant say witch (yet).

i've been there and for me it was fear see screenie.

Why do I have the feeling there is another spellbook in this sewers?

I think there's an aura of guarding in the SE corner (south from spellshield), but I'm not sure.

But as I said, it's just a feeling. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

could be the same though, at random between this two like in the house of madnes.

NW of the Dwarven Village is a spell book, too. The house on the minimap ist the 1st house north of Rimmer's.

I think that "Meteorstrike" book is not random. I found it in the same place too.

There's also one not mentioned here. (I wish I wasn't so lazy, then I'd do a screenie) There is a chest in the dwarven forest area south of the raised section with the well. This always contains the poison cloud spellbook (in the english version anyway). IIRC its spike-trapped so go carefully!
Also did anyone mention the 'wizard's sight' book in the cursed abbey-I forget.

Both these spells aren't the best, but have their uses. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

For anyone who wanted the location of the chest with the Poison Cloud spellbook, it is actually far northeast of the Dwarven Forest teleporter and slightly southeast of the Dwarven village.
