Divine Divinity Expansion, but only single player.

I need more quests and maps! I don't even care if there aren't any new monsters, I just want some quest to do.

Oh, and the level editor is also something I really want to see. That's what I voted for too...

And where is the dragon leading a Evil army there where several people who where talking about this gaurds, gossiping dwarfs, chitisens.

I personaly would prefer a full-blown sequal to rather than just have a few quests and maybe a new monster or two shoehorned into the original game.

I agree they shouldt not do the same as they did with Diablo 1 new act and five new but stronger monsters it's fun for a little wile but then it gets boring.

I love the game, but I would rather wait a little longer and get a new story than just and add-on

Just what i think, but it will take a long time (1-2 years i suppose) and even thinking a good story again(this game has one of the best i think) isn't so easy. They could release an editor so that the players wouldn't be bored while DD 2 is under development.

You don't get a quest: This quest was taken out of the game (confirmed by a kind Larian soul], sniff
Kiya

you do get Buad's tea, BTW, nice for killing a certain tree with bad manners. But you should have 2 other quests dealing with it before doing so.

I would like a Divine Divinty 2. A seperate game with a new story. The amount of work to make an expansion and making a new game might be similar in most respects. To me isn't the most stable of games so MP in it would be risky at best. Larian could learn from the feedback they have gotten and make a new, better game, me thinks. And that would be worth waiting for.

I could have been very happy not knowing that. "Game over, man! Game over!"

The only point to an expansion would be to add a load of little quests to the otherwise incredibly boring Wasteland section.

Personally, I would prefer DD2 to an expansion though. The Div game engine is a good one, and a new game the same size as DD1 - though with NO boring Wasteland-like section would certainly be the way to go, I feel

Remember: There have been some quests left out of the final game ...

Not Kiya, but...

There is a healer who lives in western Verdistis who sells potions. He will talk to you about the tea. Under his bed is a hatch. You will need lockpick 5 to get in. There you will find the Buad's Tea.

And getting back on top, absolutely NO MULTIPLAYER--that would ruin the game. I cannot understand why reviewers think every game needs multiplayer. It's usually crap anyway.

I'd like to see both an expansion and a sequel, but if I had to choose, then, well, a sequel would be my choice, for the most important [imho] aforesaid reason, that the engine is good, so fixes here and there don't really do much, but an altogether further development would probably be something extremely good. I can't help relating this to when we [gamers] were talking about sequels to baldur's gate and the infinity engine and how it developed in icewind dale vs baldurs gate 2. But one thing I do know, that I'd like the sequel to have some form of continuation, like some solid reference to the character and events in dd1, not like in diablo2 for example, where it just says, oh the last hero got consumed by the bad guy, now you're the new guy, hello goodbye. Multi I'd like to see, but I can visualise why it would be a major bummer with dd. It's made to be single from the scratch, it seems, and even though you might even stretch it as far as having permanent companions ingame from the npc list, it would be rather unbalancing to be multi. Or else it ends up like battlenet, ok, i got this dagger, you gimme this helm, nice to meet you, let's go kill the cows now and get some items. Personally I find it boring and uneventful. Btw, my favourite thing about the game is [laugh all you want] the trophy screen. It's really something, and I love that. No slots inventory too is a HUGE pro.

No, really. I liked that part too. I was often amazed about how much more orcs or so I had killed...
Till I looked at my clock and saw how long I been playing again.
