Ok. In this question I'm asking for where is the clue in the game and not the actual solution to the riddle.

I'm in the champion hall and wearing the helmet I found 3 levers that change the colour of the thingys in the wall. I checked the quest items from the clue and a couple mention colous (such as blue goes with shield). I think these colours refer to the where I put the orbs downstairs becauase I do not see shields where the levers are (I've not found the orbs).
-
What I have not found is where is the clue in the game that tells me what colour the three thingys on the walls should be (I have complete the 5 clues in the quest log so there must have been somthing else I'm missing that indicate what colours these should be). Naturally I could try all 27 combinations but I rather figure this out the way I'm suppose to -

I am not asking for the actual squence - I'm sure i cuold find that in a faq (haven't looked yet) but rather I'm asking for how I'm suppose to know the sequence smile

thanks !

If you look at the colour sequence without the Helmet of Secrets on first, then put the helmet on, the colours are different...

Oh. Pout. How long did it take you to figure that one out smile

Thanks again. I'll test it when I get home. As you can see I'm trying to do this without a faq smile

When I first went by wearing the helmet I tried pulling the levers in order left to right and then right to left, and then noticed the colour change when you pull the lever (the first 4 or 5 times I hit a lever it was during part of the visual effect sequence that obscured the change). I took off the helmet to check the normal colours, then put it back on to make them match.

Ok. I feel bad that i needed your help here; but i found the rest without aid wink
-
Is there only one ending? If so then I was victorious ! (though the divine is still in chains).
-
Well I think that was a long game - if i go all the back to my killer bunny post it took... 22 days - Aug 04 !
-
Hum last sequence is giving me trouble - one sec - ok - all done. I think there is but one ending frown
-
Ok now I'm ready for #3 smile

No the guy with the white beard is Zandalor, The Divine has white hair but no beard & glowing eyes

WARNING STORY SPOILER

When you fought the last boss did you fight Yegerna on her own or Yegerna & Behrlihn, if you just fought Yegerna then you sided with Bellegar if you fought both you sided with Behrlihn. When you get down to the area where you find Rhode after you've finished the puzzles & are arout to free Behrlihn Balleger appears & give's you one final chance to save the world. He offers to give you what you need to save Alaroth if you leave Behrlihn were he is. If you agree then you side with Bellegar if you don't then you side with Behrlihn, but it's that choice that dictates the ending.

Hum. Maybe I should redo the case where I do not free Behrlihn . In the end scene I did not see much which indicated he was free but perhaps it is not really emphasized and I missed a critical line ?
-
Anyways given that you are not suppose to free Behrlihn ; I'm a bit surprise things turned out well when he was freed. I thought maybe he would instantly imprison me smile

I do know that in freeing Behrlihn he states that he imprisoned the divine. I'll redo the other case one more time when I get home and report my finding.

When is part 3 ?

Here is a video of the end of the game. When Ygerna dies the crystal the Divine is trapped in shatters, after which he, Zandalor and (I assume) Deodatus walk out to a cheering crowd, and the Divine waves to the dragon knight.

Behrlihn doesn't imprison the Divine, he just breaks his promise to free him. The Divine was imprisoned 50 years before DKS, which triggered the formation of the slayers, since he was believed to have been killed by a dragon knight.

Project E is reportedly to be released next year (I assume sometime after Dragon Commander).

THanks; yea for such a major event (freeing divine) the visiblity is very minor. I wonder if they will continue both endings in #3.
-
Never really remember Deodatus; I mean i looked him up but he didn't make much of an impact during the actual game.

How does the story 2 relate to story 1 (which I play liked 8 years ago).

The plot of Divine Divinity was a hero, who eventually becomes the Divine One, almost stopping the Black Ring's efforts to summon an aspect of the Lord of Chaos into a human baby. Unable to kill the baby (Damian) the Divine raises him as his son (between the events of DD and BD), determined to keep the demon suppressed, which worked great for 15 years, until Damian meet the beautiful Ygerna. The war that reshaped the land around Aleroth and ended with the Divine supposedly being killed was Damian getting revenge for the execution of Ygerna (for participating in Black Ring necromancy experiments on children).

can someone sum up the story

The only thing we know about the plot of Project E is that we will be able to defeat Damian.

I think you will play as a new character in Divinity 3. The DK may appear as an NPC and the Divine, hard to say giving there is two endings to DKS. Larian may choose to continue the story based on the 'good' ending (siding with Bellegar) like Lucasarts did with the Jedi Knight games. Remember them!? The other option is not to mention / have him in the game at all but I find that unlikley. It would be interesting to see what they come up with.

I sided with Bellegar in my game.

I would have liked the same gameplay as D2 & have a dual campaine with the Divine & The Dragon knight but maybe if we all complain enough they'll give us something like that in the future grin

Maybe. Project E (Divinity 3) will be a top down perspective but another 3D RPG similar to Divinity 2 may be planned for the future in 3-4 years time.
