I love RPGs and am enjoying Divinity II The Dragon Knights Saga.

Unfortunately i am stuck in Orabas Fjords and am unable to proceed further?

Because of health problems i had to leave off playing the game for quite a considerable time and have only just returned and my memory is not brilliant and it does not help when completed quests
and conversations are deleted as you progress???

I have completed up to the quest " X Marks the Spot" meeting the Dragon "Patriarch" who created an entrance to The Hall of Echoes beneath the roots of Irminsul. Returned to the tree but can not communicate any longer or see any way to continue?

I can not find a way to remove the barrier near the Slayer Camp and can not return to Broken Valley to sarch for the shield berause of the poison

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Have you gone to Aleroth and done the quests there? IIRC (it's been awhile since I played), there's three things you need to get into the Hall of Echoes, and I think the Shield you get in Aleroth. There's a book in your inventory, under quest items, I think it's called "Maxos Book" maybe. Anyhow, whatever it is called, that book has information about how to get to the Hall of Echoes, and where you can find the items.

To get to Aleroth, you have to

A) Find some zeppelin parts (Rudders, Compasses, Stabilators) - they are in some of the Wyvern Nests in the Fjords, so you'll have to hunt around a bit.

B) Go to the Champions Harbor, to the roof/Zeppelin dock. There's a guy there who you have to talk to, who needs the parts so they can repair the Zepp.

C) Once you've given him enough parts, you can talk to the chap on the ramp up to the Zepp to book passage to Aleroth (unfortunately, there's no flying scene - you just load into Aleroth).

There's various things you'll have to do in Aleroth, but the key thing is that you have to talk to Zandalor (the old Wizard you run into throughout the story), and then, IIRC, you have to help defend Zandalor while he shuts down some demon portals or something.

I think once you complete that, Zandalor can give you the shield. I might be misremembering, though. You get *something* you need in Aleroth, anyhow.

but he still requires more so will keep looking.
unfortunately unsure which parts are outstanding!!!

Still unsure how to disable the barrier right of the Harbour; any ideas anyone?

Once again thankyou for you help

I forgot to mention earlier - I think you can ride the Zeppelin before you turn in *all* the parts. Have you tried just talking to the guy on the ramp?

As for the barrier. . . guess I'm confused. Which barrier are you referring to? Are you talking about the very large force field that covers the entire Harbor, and the second large forcefield which covers the Slayer training camp? I don't think you can lower those shields. You can fly around them however - the forcefield doesn't completely block your flight through the fjords.

Indeed, the force field at the Harbour and Slayer Camp you can't lower them.

For the Zeppelin parts : it's enough to give Master Page 3 different kind of Zeppelin parts (Rudder, Compass and I think a Zeppelin Crystal or something).

And you can find lovely shopkeepers in Alertoh smile ... !

Good luck !

BTW, just to be sure, give the parts one by one. IIRC there is a bug in which the NPC doesn't recognize how many parts you've collected. Thus, you can come to him with three parts and it will count as one. (But you will still manage to get to Aleroth all the same)

I think there are nine parts all in all so there's room for mistakes. I think someone managed to collect all and when he approached the NPC all parts were removed but the quest counted the encounter as 1 part found.

I never had such a bug with the Zeppelin parts ...

If you fly to the left, facing the Barrack where the 2 Black Ring merchants (Abram & Beird) are,
it that "corridor" you can spot at least 2 different Zeppelin parts (search there in all Wyvern nests) and a third kind of part you can find in the Tree on that island where you can kill Charly, the Goblin with his two Axes (or Scimitars?) laugh

All the luck for all of you .
Hope you enjoy like I do !
