So the aim of Dragon Commander is to expand your kingdom (obviously there will be a story behind it) but does this mean to expand it until you take control of the whole of Rivellon? I would imagine that we can forge alliances with other Dragon Knights where we are at peace with them.

Kings did have peace treaties with other countries in real life. So I would expect this to be the same in Dragon Commander. Not only would this make for interesting role play but also for interesting gameplay. For example, if you've got an alliance with Dragon Knight Old Man, surely he would come to your help if Demon Warrior Smith attacks you and engages your troops in battle.

Dragon Knights originally were supposed to be united. Even during Divinity 2, didn't Talana (before she...you know) have a friendship with Amdusias?

Amdusias was the not-Dragon Knight who was so angry about not getting to be a Dragon Knight, he concocted his own little magic spell to turn into one (and was, it seems, only partially successful).

I think you meant Lovis. And... well... I'm pretty sure we never heard Talana's opinion on him.

As for alliances, that depends on the Victory Conditions the game allows. If the only way to win is by ruling every province yourself, alliances will still be possible, but backstabbing will be inevitable. If a joint victory is possible, then alliances get a lot more interesting. Because backstabbing is not inevitable, but might still happen. So do you really trust the Dragon Knight who just allied with you? Or was s/he wrong to trust you?

i think this will have alot of options depending on how you want to approach the game from what iv saw so far.i like the idea of an alli helping in fights than just them being an objective to either fight or get out of the way.

Don't poke the fire. It might poke back!

Create dyplomacy and rebels. Your servats can turn to enemies, if your Dragon Knight is bad ruler.
Alliances is good, but it is too little.

Yes. Lovis. I got confused there. And yes, if there are going to be alliances, why not backstabbing?
