Shade, I was a pretty lowleved mage (in my 20es), did it like this:
Placed my character in the NW corner, behind the coffin - until the vampire had reached me he was nearly dead by highleveled meteorstrike. I used both shield spells. (Needed 3 tries for success)
Tutamun was harder: Killed him with elemental strike lvl 2.
Have you scavenged the Ars Magicana shops? With patience and occasional visits I was able to buy a lot of spell books.
