With the electrified nest tower and ballistas in the Red Hammer tribe area, one of them is just inside the barrier and can not be hit with Fire Spheres. You can fly close and take it out with Dragon Burst, though.
Dragons regenerate mana quickly, so it is easy enough to use the healing spell.
