Just finished the Ego Draconis part of DKS, don't know what to say after the end game fiasco except "Larian loves Damian"! I mean there is nothing wrong with that only there are other, more reasonable and conceivable ways to stretch a storyline. This would be the most awkward choice of them all!

Speaking about choices, this kind of "twist in the tale" approach would've been clever provided there were choices to be made and there was none. No matter what I do, the outcome is the same linear, cut scene plagued disappointment! Why there are so many choices/options/tradeoffs with items, sub-quests and whatnot and so little when it comes to the main story line?

This isn't the first time though that my hero got exploited and I guess neither this is the first time for Larian. "History of the Dammed one" suggests that Damian previously escaped from the rift in which he was caste off by the Divine by exploiting a divine paladin. I bet that clueless paladin was the hero of a prequel to this game!

So the only question remains about who is going to 'exploit/seduce/make a fool out' of my hapless hero next? Behrlin? ZixZax? Goblin Charlie? And whom I have to fight in the end game of FoV? Anyone but Damian I presume!

Anyway I'm saying all these from a pure role playing perspective, other than that It was a great experience.
