I don't know of any way to edit skills, but have not looked at any trainers (played the Xbox version).
Did you try returning to the battle tower, or the trainers in the ministry, and unlearning your skills? If that doesn't help now, do you have a (hopefully recent) save before mindreading to get the bonus skill level?
If you need gold to unlearn skills, send your runners for diamonds and malachite ore to sell:
Runners and Tower ?In the English version of the game, mindreading to get a skill level bonus for a maxed skill has no effect. Healing has a maximum level cap of 15 for a character started in D2:ED or FoV (level 15 heals 303 HP over 1 second, for 226 mana, with a 10 second cooldown).
