Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks is genocide okey?

I failed to find this info on the board so I'm asking myself. Please do not spoil me too much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. My question is, is it okey to kill all the orcs around the map (the red ones) or kill all the bees/boars/wolves (red ones) in the regular map areas? Does it have any concequences later? After reading some books about the divine one, he is supposed to unite the races, so I just thought that after I kill all the orcs (especially in the big camp in the lower right corner of the main map) would that affect the story? Killing all hostile monsters does give exp so it could be beneficial!

You can kill anything that is hostile towards you (red). There are some monsters that show up as green until they see or talk to you, then turn hostile. If you kill them while they are green, you will loose reputation, but anything red is fair game.

Don't worry much about killing hostiles. Just remember to save when they throw any nice items, because these orcs are a bit tough and you may need to reload quite a few times, so you don't lose them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I lost plenty a pretty charm before learning that lesson. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

This depends on weather you want to reach the highest possible level or not. Get exp when and where you can. Save often! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
