The visual changes at the start these games lack, often make it up by the depth of the story. It's complicated to make deep stories when you can start with every character people can come up with.


That's not really the Planescape Torment route then or The Witcher route as both games - as I recall - had zero attire customization and The Witcher only had like four armor sets if I recall. It's no biggie for me if we can't select a face or hairstyle for our character but I'm hoping for lots of armor which match each and everyone class we can make. Divinity needs some robes for those who want to be a wizard and I'd like capes and cloaks too.

Divinity has always had great customization so I don't see why it would stop here since this is technically meant to be the spiritual successor to Divine Divinity but even more improved.
