Did you check the room just north of the armoury? (
map) Hit the Alt key...
I can get the inventory files with the shield, but it would probably be better to get the key.
I'm heading out shortly but will get the files and edit this post later today.
Alternately, you can bypass the door:
Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor.
