Well, despite my intial confusion, I really liked the turn of events. The game makes you believe that you are doing something important, something that will disrupt the black ring once and for all. Maybe it's a bit depressing (especially if you don't play FoV), but it truly archieves its purpose; maybe I would have appreciated more information about Hypnerotomachia, but I really enjoyed the surprise.

But, I don't know, maybe my case is different since I played DKS first and I was able to take revenge almost inmediatly laugh

Well, that would explain all the confusion and mystery about that dimension in which the Divine and the DragonKnight are imprisoned; a little but nice allusion to a classic mystery ^_^

By the way, since I have just started FoV -I would have enjoyed a dialogue option to say Berhrlihn that I don't accept his terms. A dialogue option, of course, that would had lead to a unexpected first-game over, with the camera going away while Lucian keeps talking about his adventures hahaha
