Firstly thanks to everyone who's posted so much great info here. You've made DD an even more enjoyable experience for us all.
I read in one of the fine posts RE quest breaking actions (I believe it was Kiya's (thanks a ton for all that info)) that killing the big dumb orc would break the Slasher quest. The thing is that you get more exp for killing the foul beast
and you get to keep slasher...
Problem with this route is that after killing the orc several times I find that I cannot save game after he's dead. Is this a result of "breaking" the quest? Does anyone know if there is a way around it? Do we ever see that big dumb orc again (think his name's Smirlok)? And finally is Slasher worth worrying over or will I have found something better by the time I've leveled enough to use it (I'm guessing that would around 15/16ish).
