Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga story help

I have read the inside cover of the manual for the story, as well as the story overview from the Divinity 2 web page. I am still unclear on the story. Is there somewhere else I can read up on this? For example, what is a Dragon Slayer vs. a Dragon Knight? And who exactly is my enemy? Just got the game and can't wait to play it, as I absolutely loved Divine Divinity! The artwork and attention to detail is still a sight to behold! Thanks

can someone sum up the story

The game gives a history of the dragon slayers, formed to kill dragons and dragon knights (humans given the ability to transform into a dragon) after a dragon knight was blamed for killing the Divine One (hero from Divine Divinity) in a war with Damian and the Black Ring.
There were no dragon knights in DD or BD, so just go through all the dialog in Farglow, etc, and read any 'history of' series of books, and you will get a summary of DD/BD as well as the pre-story to Divinity 2.
