Hi,

I currently (re) play Divinity 2. I have Flames of Vengeance on the latest patchlevel installed (but I'm not in the addon right now).

What is odd that the music sometimes works - and sometimes it does not. If I reload or teleport it seem the next music does not trigger at all times for some reason.

The game is still great but to play some part without the awesome music makes this playthrough feel not as good as the previous ones. Is this bug known? How can I fix it?

I play on the PC (Win 7 64) and it's the same configuration as I had the last time I played (when the Addon came out).

Hello Silverdragon,

This sounds like a driver issue, but I am not 100% sure.
To gain some more information about your issue, would it be possible to provide me with the report generated by the following support tool please?

One more thing: also mention in which part of the game you are experiencing this.

I have noticed the same thing too... sometimes music just won't play... I remember this on the forest in the 1st part of the game and it happened to some other places too IIRC but I can't be really sure which ones... I just ignored this and continued playing smile
also running win7/x64 (pro) with a (real) xifi card

Hello,

excuse my terrible english hehe
I have the same problem, sometimes the music doesn't play on Flames of Vengeance.
There is now a known solution for the problem or I must use the support tool and send the report by e-mail to the Larian support?

thank you for the answer!

I don't recall this being reported again, or a solution being mentioned, so (as above) you should email support with a description of the problem and maybe a link to this topic.

yea, i kinda have been having the same problem, the first time i went through the game everything worked fine, but now when im going through the game a 2nd time (im doing a playthrough, as linked in my signature) sometimes the music does not play in some bits, only a few times and mostly in broken valley, i though it was a problem with FRAPS, my video recording software but if other people have it... then i don't know, nether the less i have played through the game before and heard all the EPIC music so it does not bother me, im just concerned it might bother my viewers.

Oh yeah, I've been getting this too, pretty much all through the game. I don't recall it being a problem in the past (though my memory is unreliable) but since I used the patch to update my former ED+FoV installation to DKS, it seems that the music often fails to start for fairly prolonged periods. I don't mind too much, but if it goes on too long, I do feel a bit robbed of atmosphere...

this sounds like a problem for a lot of people, its not gameplay effecting...wait, it is, the soundtrack is EPIC, skyrim without its soundtrack i'd be like "meh" but divinty 2, if it happened to me everywhere i would cry myself to sleep every night. :hihi:
