Almost 2 months later and I'm nearing the end of Ego Draconis as my nightmare Ranger. I would have completed it earlier if I wasn't going through Thief 1 and Dragon's Dogma again as well. Anyways, my ranger is LV 32 and pretty powerful with the ranger surprise and way of the ranger abilities. Nightmare wasn't as hard as I once said it was (I based these claims on the little parts that I did play on nightmare once) but there are some very difficult mobs especially on the Flying Fortresses.

I've probably died around 14 times throughout the whole playthrough. Baal was pretty difficult to defeat but I had no problems with Zagan (I did have problems with his allies but I managed to kill them *after* killing Zagan and then saving the game). I also find myself having to use the pause function to choose abilities to use and you definitely have to be more tactical on nightmare difficulty. Seriously, Divinity 2 is extremely fun on nightmare and once I complete the entire saga again, I'll be going back to Divine Divinity to play it on its hardest difficulty (which will probably be harder considering normal difficulty was quite challenging at times).
