Taltamir's savegame has book of the dead and black ring's ring as completed in his quest journal.
Also, his necromancer platform has been upgraded to level 2. So, in essence, there is nothing wrong with the game's progress.
Is it possible the quest completion was simply missed because of turning intwo quests at the same time?
