I used once for my first mage ^_^
I understand why so much people finds this feature like some kind of cheat, but I like it. The increasing amount of gold seems a fair penalty to me.
The first time you play you can't possibly fathom how the high level skills would work. You have a certain idea, but you need to try it to really understand its usefulness.
