So, our logo designer came up with something, but it looks very familiar somehow... Any ideas?

I don´t have anything positive to say recently, do I? Well, here I go. Again.
The ground on the lower right side is too bright green, looking more primitive graphics-wise than is really the case.
The lettering is way too large, the yellow too harsh. It so completely dominates the picture that it's kind of difficult to notice anything else. It especially weighs heavily on the Dragon itself, making it a background element on par with the fields.
I'm not saying DRAGON COMMANDER should blend in and become invisible, but... do the bright yellow letters with the straight lines really suggest "magitek fantasy" to you?
I mean, let's say you want to use this logo to get people to the Facebook page. What reason are you giving the uninformed layperson to go there? Well, the Dragon with the jetpack, obviously. But it's hard to see at a casual glance that I'm actually looking at a Dragon with a jetpack. The only thing a casual glance gives me is that big ugly title so why should I care to look a little deeper?
I'm not sure I'm making sense here and I don't mean to be a hater or anything, but this image isn't doing it for me. Behind the letters, if I really try, I can just make out an image of a Dragon flying free with the sky above and the ground below, heading towards the sunrise (or possible a city in the mid-right there), but a logo shouldn't have to make me try.

I don't see the green as too bright, but the dragon could certainly stand out more.
Why is 'Dragon' so much smaller than 'Commander'? IMO the former is more important than the latter, and even with RTS fans, I would think it at least one of the first features to set it apart from other RTS games. The 'dragon' part is being shown, as well, but just reading the name of the game 'commander' takes precedence.

This is a parody logo, right? It's not for real? I don't know what game has font like that, but it does not fit the Divinity Universe at all. It's also ugly.
I'm just going to assume this is a joke referencing something I haven't seen.

I assumed the font design/texture was reflecting steampunk / dieselpunk inspired elements of the game.

Looks familiar but I can't think with what. I doubt this is the marketing / box art etc image they will use... is it??
The original artwork with the white and black dragon and red logo looks fine to me and it's what I'd use.

The letters look imho far too much like Total Annihilation (TA), but the idea as such isn't bad, imho.
What, if the letters were rather looking like elven ornaments with steampunk woven in ?
It should be imho hinting much, much, much more towards the Fantasy genre - with some Steampunk woven in.

This is a parody logo, right? It is. It's for fun. We thought you'd have a good laugh. We took a well-known RTS logo to see if you'd recognize it...

Well, I haven't played that game, but I did recognize that it was obviously in the style of another game. I didn't reply before other people because I didn't know the name of the game. I suppose I should have said "This is clearly a parody of another game, but I can't think of which one."

The ground on the lower right side is too bright green If you think that's bright green you should see the grass on the other side! (And the award for worst pun goes to ...)
