I think Larian is expecting their Divinity 2 audience to go to Dragon Commander while catering to the older fans (the ones who went through Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity) with Divinity Original Sin.

I hope not, lol. I played Div 1, enjoyed it immensely, loved Ego/Flames, but never been a strat game person myself so won't be purchasing DC but will be buying OS.

Just a couple thing from my standpoint, well just one really. The only thing that bothers me is prequels, especially before a story arch is finished. Just feels disjointed a bit.

But I have no problems with Isometric games. Was funny however, when Ego Draconis was announced I was a bit dissapointed that it was not an isometric game, now was shoked that D:OS was isometric, heh.

The turn based isometric is fine, certainly harkens back to the old D&D PC games like pools of radiance, but my fave game to date is the Sacred series. Good mix of RPG and action (not quite a full blown hard core RPG and not quite a simple AARPG either.

But I love the couple aspect they are doing with 2 main characters simultaneously. Probably would not be as good a game with a single protagonist.

I pledged and all I got was this lousy awesome game!
