Salut,

J'ai achet� il y a quelques mois la Developper's Cut, pour �a que j'�cris ici, je suppose que c'est plus appropri� que sur DKS.

J'avais une nVidia, pas de probl�me. Je r�installe avec un SSD au passage.
J'ai chang� pour une 7870 et c'est la merde. UNIQUEMENT avec ce jeu.

J'ai test� toutes les options possibles et imaginables DANS le jeu, voil� le rendu :




M�me si je modifie mes param�tres du CCC ATI �a ne change rien, ou alors j'ai modifi� des trucs qu'il ne faudrait pas, quoiqu'il en soit le r�sultat demeure identique.

Le plus frustrant est que c'est ponctuel, �a n'apparait qu'� certains endroits, ce n'est pas partout.

3 ans apr�s la sortie du jeu je trouve cela relativement intol�rable, surtout que je ne suis pas un n00b de l'informatique et que j'ai donc proc�d� aux divers essais et tests n�cessaires. Et que comme je l'ai dit, ma configuration marche impeccablement bien avec les autres jeux. Si modification de param�tres il y a, c'est donc qu'elle est sp�cifique � faire tourner CE jeu.

En plus j'ai back� sur KS pour Dragon Commander et Original Sin(x2 donc) �a m'emmerderait d'annuler parce que je n'ai pas envie de me retrouver confront� au m�me probl�me

Soit dit en passant, quand j'ai r�cemment pos� des questions sur les exigences pour Dragon commandant et le p�ch� originel de construire un nouvel ordinateur, quelqu'un de Larian recommand�es cartes ATI plusieurs, y compris une HD7850, donc vous ne devriez pas avoir de probl�mes avec un 7870.

Someone else with black textures tried verifying local files for the game and ran it in XP compatibility mode, and it fixed the problem.

Updated graphics drivers helped someone with some transparent textures.

If that doesn't help see the English topic above, or email support@larian.com, with a description of the problem and maybe a link to this topic.


By the way, when I recently asked about the requirements for Dragon Commander and Original Sin to build a new computer, someone from Larian recommended several ATI cards, including a HD7850, so you probably shouldn't have any issues with a 7870.

What is this "english topic" related?

I'm under Steam so the XP Compatibility can't run (to my knowledge). Already did the local files check.

I check the 'Active Topics' for updates and to catch any English spam in non-English forums. The French and German forums have been pretty slow lately, so I try to reply if I notice any posts, even if online translators don't do a great job sometimes.
I used to be able to order food and ask for directions in French, but I haven't used it in so long pretty much all I remember now is how to tell people my name and what colour my pencil is.


You may not be able to set the compatibility mode through Steam, but in Windows Explorer you can browse to the folder where you installed the game, and right click on the divinity2.exe and/or divinity2-debug.exe files directly (for the regular or Developer Mode versions of the game, respectively) and select Properties in order to set options in the Compatibility Tab.
As long as you are there, you can also try checking the option to run the game as administrator, and in Win 7 disable Desktop Composition.
You can start the game directly, without having Steam running, though I think if you set the compatibility option from the executable file they should be applied if you start the game through Steam, as well.

So, I tried these in D:\Jeux\Steam\SteamApps\common\divinity2_dev_cut\bin

- admin mode (I'm under Win7 64bits)
- XP SP3

None of them work. Same bug, same black objects

I tried a last thing: "v�rifier l'int�grit� du cache" on my French Steam

Downloaded some huge file/s... and it works fine now! \o/
