I wouldn't be so sure about that. Maybe Larian will just go "LOL Cataclysm! Everybody dies!"

It would not be the greatest of endings, but after Ego Draconis I would not be too surprised if it did happen.

Ego draconis! the game that I loathe until Flames of vengeance.

I'm thinking of a Dragon Age:Origins in a way of ending. There is narration at the end of the game wherein they tell you the consequences of your actions. Although the ending is quite linear objective wise, they executed it well.
