Hi all,

I'm new here, but old fan of Larian and the Divinity world. I am ecstatic that theres a kickstarter for DOS.. and in hopes of generating interest and pledges I made a thread on /r/gaming.. I REALLY want to see the kickstarter get funded.

I'd like to brainstorm how else we can generate interest for our beloved series.. any thoughts?

Mhm. The only real medium I haven't seen utilised is coverage of some of the big youtube guys. Perhaps TotalBiscuit will discuss it on his show "The Content Patch". He's discussed some kickstarter projects before albeit REALLY successful ones. Apart from that, I think exposure's been not half bad. Making a thread on Reddit is good, I guess.

They do tend to hate everyone and anything though lol.

Good idea.. I'm tempted to just pm totalbiscuit, but it seems a bit tactless..

It seems to me that of TotalBiscuit gets a lot of people requesting that he cover the Kickstarter, he might be more willing to listen than if it were just one or two.

Looks like we're getting close.. a little over 75% of the way with 3 weeks to go. I'd love to see stretch goals though. How do we organize an e-petition most effectively?

Speaking of that site, isn't Reddit kinda like 4/chan (i.e a wretched hive of scum and villainy)?

They are still determining what stretch goals they should be implement first. I'd expect some news relatively soon, since it is almost 80% funded.

I would wait with further stretch goals at least until we reach 350k. But it's Swen's decision.

Rule number one: TB doesn't take requests lol

Larian had mentioned early on in the Kickstarter comments that they have begun talking with TotalBiscuit, in which they hope to get him to play enough of the game to make a worthy vid. All we can do is sit by and hope TB is willing to since he ignores requests.
