I've got to say that I like Zandalor's new design but if you ask me he needs a beard. Since the concept art with the two protagonists have him at the bottom with his trademark robe and hat I can only guess that he grows his beard at one point too?

So long as he doesn't equip his unfashionable hat from Divinity 2...

If you ask me he looked better in Divine Divinity with his plain hat and cloak.

Someone needs to give the Zandalor at the top a beard. I'd do it but I don't have photoshop...

This isn't a minor complaint either. Everyone on Kickstarter agrees that Zandalor needs a beard. I'm not pre-ordering until I see him with one.

lol.

I agree that his outfit in Divinity II was kinda shitty and not reminiscent of the Zandalor in Divine Divinity.

I like the new design. This is 1200 years before Divine Divinity. Styles change!

What surprised me was ARHU, I wasn't expecting a warrior with white dreadlocks and a kitty toy strapped to his belt.

That's Zandalor?? I don't like, the glasses look a little ridiculous and why is he showing some skin? I'd rather the classic wizard look but I guess it's only a minor cosmetic thing.

Well, it is his youth, apparently he didn't yet become a wise old man and actually kicked some asses back then :3

He still looks kind of old though, and I guess I always imagined him like Gandalf in that he'd always be old. I do think if his right chest was covered and he wasn't wearing Bono sunglasses I'd be more accepting!

Middle-aged Zandalor is so awsome and period! He is as cool as professor badass, just with hair instead of beard.

Make it happen...

@Stabbey

I wasn't expecting him to be black...

No seriously. There were only a few black people in Divine Divinity and they were some random townsfolk. They were missing altogether from Divinity 2. It's good to see a major character in Divinity who is black.

Seriously? I'm the only one who thinks this Zandalor design is damn good?

No, you are not. I think this new design is awesome. I like since the first time I saw it at the kickstarter page.

I know that Zandalor is a great character in Divinity universe, but this new design not only is good looking, but also coherent. If the game developes so long before the events on DD, I would expect people and things looking a bit different.

It's true, though, that he has some resemblance with Auron -not sure if intentional.

EDIT::: Oh, by the way, he is carrying some kind of staff... does that mean that staffs are going to be part of the weaponry this time?
