I don't know why, but I could use a debit card. The account was linked in my amazon account. Is there any disadvantage doing this kind of thing?

But works only forAmazon.com, .de doesn't offer the Kickstarter feature. smirk

Larian cut the "Donate" buttons for some of the tiers for now because there were some problems with the correct charging. Swen said that the problem should be solved today/tomorrow. smile

That would be great. smile Maybe I do it like Yannos and upgrade my donation afterwards...

I think that campaign is going really good last couple of hours , with quite higher rate of money income.

Has the PayPal problem been fixed yet? Specifically, does the link for the $65 tier work now? I know some people who are interested in that. Or is Larian not going to offer that option on PayPal?

For physical tiers they need to sort out shipping first, from what I know.

I'm not talking about the physical tiers, I'm talking about the digital tiers whose PayPal buttons have been removed.

Could anyone from Larian please respond?

I think it's safe to say that getting that working properly as soon as possible is one of their top priorities.

Hum. I wish I understood somethings. Well hopefully the trend will keep up and it'll get above 800K; just kind of hope Lar isn't disappointed.

I think they would be disappointed if they hadn't reached their funding goal.... wink

At the time being even the $1M stretch goal is still in reach. So don't lose hope yet. smile

I personally think that Kirill's Divine Divinity music is the best video game soundtrack ever created. It played a key role in the worldwide critial success of DD.

That's indeed correct ! And because of the music I love to play DD, still after Billions of times hearing again the sounds of Kirill ! wink

But I like to hear new melodies, times are changing, new games coming up ... but Kirill's melodies stay, forever, locked up in my Mind !! smile

KICKSTARTER UPDATE #12

Shelter from the Storm

If things get a bit much for you on the battlefield and you see no other option than to flee, you can quickly retreat to your Shelter Plane and catch your breath. After all, there's no shame in surviving, and when you feel ready to head out again, you can simply pick your waypoint of choice.Of course, you'll need a bit of space to make the transition, so make sure your enemies are not too close when seeking shelter...

What the point of flee then? There is no reason to use it if you can just warp into your secret home anytime you want. Technically, it is a huge exploit and you won't lose any battle with it.

I basically agree; though yo could do the same thing with divinity and the parymids; but hopefully they will add a set of options for folks that want to change the rules here and there to make the game more challenging.

Sounds to me you need to flee well out of reach of your assailants before you can teleport away, so I think the skills would be complementary.

* as usual this is imho (unless stated otherwise); feel free to disagree, ignore or try to change my mind. Agreeing with me is ofc also allowed, but makes for much worse flamewarsarguments.

It's not an exploit because your enemies are still there when you come back. In a real time RPG you mostly have the chance to run away as well and come back later when you have a better strategy, equipment or experience.

But I think - and that's what also is written in the text - that you shouldn't be able to flee easily if you are in close combat. Then there should be at least the chance that the enemy could hit you before your attempt to flee succeds (an additional initiative throw for the enemy).
