I ask from ignorance, but... if a medium sized dog could be a threat to an adult human, shouldn't wolves be the same?

Now that someone has mentioned the sound wolves made at death in Divine Divinity, I must admit that sometimes gets a bit unpleasant.

Well they could be a threat, but it doesn't mean they always will be. The biggest threat to humans are other humans by an enormous majority. But it's not like every single human attacks you on sight in an RPG (or in real life, thankfully!) It's like sharks - they rarely attack humans, and when they do it's usually because the human was lying on a bodyboard or surfboard and appeared to be a seal or something from below. Yet in a game, if there's a shark, you're in trouble.

I just have a bit of a problem with the wolf thing because they're so much like dogs. It feels weird attacking them, but at least with something like a shark, a lion or a polar bear (which are actually vicious bastards), they feel a bit more monstrous and less like something you're going to have in your own house.
