This is the place to discuss starting our very own Weresheep of Original Sin fundraiser!

• For which tier (in game item) should we raise funds for?
• Should Larian open a paypal account for our Weresheep-fundraiser?
• Etc.

And I like to add if Larian do, that account is open all the way down to the wire and perhaps a bit beyond, so all get a chance to be a part of that add-on benefit.

And what if Larian plans to add a pool with names provided by weresheep fans for some weresheep that you get to encounter in-game, so if you contribute to the $666 add-on, you get to make a name for that in-game weresheep pool!

In essence, this means that Larian may very well get more than $666 for that add-on, it should rather be called Larian's Weresheep Fundraiser!

A couple of things I was thinking about for a fundraiser. The first one could be for the $666 add-on 'THE hint'. Yes, we don't know anything about why the hint is there, or what it pertains to, but it would be a nice starting place. Anyone that donates to reaching that goal would get THE hint.

Next we could actually try going for the tiers+hint combo (If Larian would allow it). So basically, we could set up a 'stretch goal' of reaching $1000. If reached we would get the hint instead of any physical or digital rewards, plus the WoOS could work together to create an Item of WoOS for the game.

Same could be said for the higher tiers. As they are reached, instead of getting physical or digital items, we get the special reward for that tier (item, npc, jailor) and 'THE Hint'.

Edit: I also like what Indira thought about all donaters to the fundraiser get their name added to a pool as the weresheep names in game

We're a good enough group that we can work together on this too, and I'm sure that Larian would back us on this. I hope that they do open a second Weresheep paypal account for this because I think we are going to have fun.

Sounds good and I'd endorse that as long as the development cost for some of these things are doable and don't detract from the overall game

I'm loosing more and more interst in the whole thing with each comment about "rewards" for that fundraiser....

Well imo we should make just one goal in that fundraiser and that is to reach 666$. When we reach it all supporters would get The HINT, nothing else.

The $666 add-on is a REWARD you know and it was your idea too. Why have you all of a sudden changed your mind?

We shouldn't do what we do because we get rewarded for it, but because we want to support Larian. Stressing the reward thing just makes this feel wrong in the spirit of the weresheep.

Come on, THE hint about the weresheep in D:OS is something else like having another physical collector's edition of D:OS or something like that. Yeah, it's a reward, but something very special and a perfect fit for a WOOS fundraiser campaign....

Yeah, the $666 tier is fine by me. But we don't know what it is, not yet anyway.

Well nobody knows what $666 addon- THE Hint concerning the Weresheep is, thats why its called so...reward or no reward thats the big question now.

Anyway if honorable pll behind http://www.weresheep.net/doku.php site or smb else honorable enough and well known could set up paypal donations we could get this going in no time, the sooner the better.

It would be better if Larian set up an account I think, they are much more trustworthy in my opinion.

Maybe we can use the paypal account that they already have, we can just prefix our donations with "weresheep-fundraiser" or something.

Some great idea's here. I love how the Weresheep concept is being totally woven into the game right now

Please do so i see u helped to set up that WOOS site and u been around on these forums for some time now so if u have time u can send them an email

If we get a weresheep branded item at $666 (or whatever this add-on might be), then we might as well try to get even more cash by setting higher stretch goals for even more weresheep branded items. Just like StromIV already recommended.

Otherwise I'm afraid that the fundraising will stop dead at $666. Life is a give and take.
