It wasn't me who talked to Larian, it was StromIV, as he said on the kickstarter comments. So you're accusing the wrong guy....
Apart from that StromIV asked so far if there was the technical possiblity to make a weresheep fundraiser via Larian's account and what Larian thought of that in general. And yes, it will probably be possible but we have to clarify some technical details first. There is no decision/answer on any kind of reward or something like that yet, but StromIV asked Larian if it was a good idea to make a fundraiser for THE hint or if they had a better/other idea.
