I'm all for throwing more money at D:OS, though I would've preferred if the KS ended 4 days later(e.g. when I get paid :P) because I'm getting a little stretched on the whole money throwing, already pledged $196, the physical $150 tier, 2x$20 for extra divinity and $6 for the weresheep! :P

So I think that this fundraiser should at least run a little longer than the KS, especially if it isn't set up yet. Most of the games I've pledged to on KS had their Paypal pledging run ~30 days longer than the KS anyway.

Another thing, maybe pool together the hints given out on the $6 addon? (If they're different anyway) Would be cool to have a collection of them on the weresheep.net site.

Not once was a physical item reward mentioned in this fundraiser, it was quite clear from the beginning that we only want a gesture, i.e. a small in game item or something similar. But LordCrash decided to derail and bicker anyway.

Yeah, and his derailing was very successful as you can see.

Exactly what did he not agree with then? Is it even clear what he disagreed with? It can't be physical rewards, because they were never even mentioned. A funder exlcusive item (solely for this fundraiser) was not mentioned either. Not even in the first post, no where.

Since you are protecting LordCrash so vehemently, then you must know why. I would really like to know why he threatened to not support this fundraiser. As far as I can see he just derailed this thread because he could not dictate the contents and surrounding conditions. But, like I said, you apparently know better, so tell me what his problem actually was.

Yes, it is called debating. Unlike LordCrash though I wil not threaten to not support a fundraiser if my not solely my ideas are considered.

Well, Mr. Self-Proclaimed Weresheep Dictator. Would you like to actually share the contents of this email with us?

Yes. Yes, we are.

And that is why everybody should help the cause instead of being selfish and egoistic.

It wasn't me who talked to Larian, it was StromIV, as he said on the kickstarter comments. So you're accusing the wrong guy.... wink

Apart from that StromIV asked so far if there was the technical possiblity to make a weresheep fundraiser via Larian's account and what Larian thought of that in general. And yes, it will probably be possible but we have to clarify some technical details first. There is no decision/answer on any kind of reward or something like that yet, but StromIV asked Larian if it was a good idea to make a fundraiser for THE hint or if they had a better/other idea.

As a personal question/sidenote: why are you so furious about my comment not to support a fundraiser for an item? I mean, I'm only a single guy, there would probably be many other people supporting a fundraiser like that so why not just ignoring me? But I admit that it possibly wasn't the best idea to post that here anyway, so sorry for that. I'm a direct guy who almost always says straight forwardly what he thinks or feels.... wink

Well, it is good that Larian decides themeselves. A democratic decision has proven to be impossible because of your bickering.

Lets just hope that you don't sulk again if Larian offers us a fundraiser with stretch goals for numerous in-game items.

Because you are selfish.

This is a fundraiser only to collect more cash for Larian and you should respect that, no matter what the "reward" might be, i.e. an item/dancing weresheep/whatever. You shouldn't care about the contents of the reward, you should just support it and be happy about Larian receiving more cash, because we all profit from that.

The "reward" is just larian showing us their appreciation, nothing more. But sadly, if the reward is not to your liking, then you bicker and sulk and threaten to not support the fundraising. Which is ridiculous.

Alright enough if this chit-chat (dlux&LordCrash) we got good news and that is that something is moving in the right direction; lets hope Larian overcomes what technical problems they have and sets this fundrasing for THE Hint!

Untrue. I'm happy with everything Larian comes up with themselvers (even an item). I just didn't want to ask them for an item in the first place.
And a democratic decision on the internet is just an illusion, it's impossible by definition. Apart from that we also don't have the time to discuss about that for hours and days if we want to set up something as soon as possible. That's just a fact imo....
So let's stop this discussion, it's pointless. I said sorry and you obviously don't care about it, so what to say any more? Everyone has stated his point now, so back to topic imo......

This is not a thread demanding anything. As Strom and I have already stated, this thread exists only for brainstorming (I should have added that to the first post I guess). I was also hoping that we could thereafter make a deomcratic decision about what we would like - To which degree Larian complies with our wishes is of course up to them.

Yes, it is pointless. But I still feel obligated to protect the meaning of this thread, because I openend it (although I now wish that I hadn't to be honest).

And I tire of this conversation also. Brainstorm and state you wishes, and let others do the same. And please, respect their ideas. Larian will of course make the final decision and will hopefully incorporate our ideas.

thankyou

I always thought this thread is more to help organizing fundrasing and promote it and not some sort of wishlist because there is one already.

Well if this is wishlist for this tier then i would like short banter between characters when u first unmask weresheep among other common sheeps or smt like that.

Yes, that is what it is. Or what it was supposed to originally be.

I doubt it will get back on track though.

Perhaps I'm wrong Blackfalcon! Perhaps when the wolves howl in Rivellon, it's because they fear the weresheep of the night ... rpg006

The wolves howl as a weresheep attacks it in the night. Wolves tell their pups about the weresheep to keep them in order!
