First if anyone of the staff working on the game read this..Thank you!!! tactical co op game finally and looks amazing!

but..I have a few lil things that maybe could be tossed around and maybe added?

Non angry muscled warrior female playable character...I know its every guys dream to have some warrior princess beat em up, but from a female gamer point of view some of us are sick of having to look big and angry, personally would like to play a simple cute healer type.

Hair..I noticed in the few screens I was able to see the female only had short red hair.. Any chance you will add some long hair styles middle of the back length?

The two above ideas might seem really stupid to most, but I can already tell I will be buying this game and all the expansions and most likely playing this for along time.

Ellary, I agree with you ... "no angry muscled warrior female playable character !"

But I've confidence in the devs of Larian they never do such a thing. Such character never showed up in any rpg Larian Studios already maked in the past.

ahh good! seems every game I have bought lately I am some angry chick who wants to blow up the world and pump iron...or forced to play a male character. So options are a huge plus for me ^^!

I can't see any reason why they might seem stupid to anyone.

From what I've read/heard/seen in the videos the final game will have you create your two characters. It doesn't even have to be a man and a woman, they can be of the same gender. There will be customization options for the characters' appearance.

I don't know about body types though. Personally I don't find the in game female model too angry or muscled. Of course it would be nice to have body type customization but there may be engine/time constraints.

Also long hair sometimes have clipping issues with equipment in 3d games so many developers avoid them. They haven't shown any of these things so far, they may do so as the game is closer to release. Remember everything we've seen is from pre-alpha. For those who don't know software production cycle, alpha is a version that barely works and beta is a release canditate that may have a lot of bugs that need to be ironed out before release. So pre-alpha is really an unfinished product. I'm sure when the game is released a lot of things will be much improved, especially after the successful kickstarter campaign.

I'd say that at least one of the females falls in the angry muscled category.

Oh yeah I actually own that game, looking at my gaming shelf now. totally forgot! is a great game. Will have to keep any eye out for info on characters and such! super excited about this game hope they make their 2013 release ^^!

I can definitely agree with this~

I know there's going to be several options in character creation, but I'm really hoping for a variety of unique hairstyles for us. I would love to put my hair into a ponytail or twin tails for the same reason, haha (Making a cute happy-go-lucky caster type as well)

Would also be nice if there was a beauty salon or something in the game to change your hairstyle, color, etc for a fee. ...Or if not, someone could make a mod for it?

That's truth Kein ... but I believe that Walking Tank is in this case a super oversized version the Larians "show us" the difference and also they like it to make a good joke

Playing DD, BD or DKS, in none of those rpg's I was forced to play with a female hero that is a walking tank ! And DD(isometric view) and DKS (in 3D!) have for sure female heroes with long hair !

You may be interested in reading some answers by devs at Reddit. If you don't know how Divinity II female characters looked, why not just google it? Yeah, they are still "boob plates" but they seem to be quite balanced in indicating both elegance and strength to my eyes.

In any case, to some extent, I think the coop made it quite important to let boys and girls enjoy the game in their own ways.

I'd like to see a variety of hair styles as well. Though I've already mentioned this once its not going to matter once you find a helmet. Which is why I'm in favor of a invisible/hide helmet option for the game. As found in the first Mass Effect game.

I was bummed out while playing DKS that I either had to choose between completing an armor set or seeing my character's hair. Not much point in giving character customization if its going to get covered.

I understand your worries

But all in all: nobody will "force" you to wear that helmet, even if it's part of a Set and give more bonus value to some stats wearing all pieces of that Set.

An example of my female hero Primellina the Battle MAge Priest? (find a picture of her via the linnk in my signature )
No helmet, no shield ! And only a two-handed sword or a bow she can find via loot of enemies, chests, barrels or quest reward . She only buy some yewellery items with a skillpoint on she love to use (only Amulets, Earrings or Bracelets).
Maybe in some cases using a one-handed sword, but only one (not dual wielding because I don't like that style of fighting, just me) and without a shield.

I don't care about less options to have more "boosts" wearing/using a helmet and shield too. Even on nightmare it is feasible (knowing I killed Amdusias this time in one trip, so without dying - I'm proud I did it !)

But again, I understand the worries about the helmet

Maybe there will be optional helm on/off.

Or maybe they will add in circlets or crowns..something that wont fully cover ^-^

If you did tell me that a year or 2 ago I'd agree and we'd laugh together. Now I'm not sure with all these demands and complains.

But I've full confidence in the developers team:
they're still the same friendly, cool and unpretentious guys like years before !

I agree that the group of memebers on this forums and on the other internet sites "changed" since all those years ... but the Larian Team have still "the same basic ideas" about how they want/wish to make how the game Feels!

And I agree Divnity II (in comparison with for example DD) had some elements that are not what I really espected from the dev team, like this:
"?" - marks or "!" - marks above a NPC's head telling the player those NPC's have something to do with a Quest ! But it's already said this stupid feature will NOT appear in D:OS !
"O Larians, darf not to include such a stupid thing again!" .. I can say this over and over again, but then I also start to complain, isn't it ? Indeed it is !

So let's complain all together !
