inXile just posted that due to low dropped pledges percentage and ofc 200k from Fargo and Dengler they decided to include all stretch goals, which is great news. If i were reading this between the lines i would say that this makes around 100k of dropped pledges which around 2% of all KS pledges.

Now i haven't followed other kickstarters so close but do u think we can expect around that percentage with DOS KS? Will Larian ever reveal their numbers for our curiosity think ?

That could be the case, people tend to impulse buying and regret later.
2% of 1mil is 20k, and I doubt we'll loose 20k like that( more like around 10~13k because of smaller sized goal).

If larian keeps in touch with us via KS, the numbers would be stagnant or increase steadily with low probability of drop.

I also agree with Penguin's statement.

It's hard to say for sure without official info which we might not get. I hope that everyone who pledged for DOS came through and delivered what they pledged. The only pledge I know with absolute certainty had no issue and went through smoothly is mine. smile

People should never drop any payment, it's bad on the credit.
If they did feel regret, they should cancel pledge before KS ended.

@Penguin, I understand what you mean, but keep in mind that some people are completely thrilled because of the hype at the time the kickstarter is running. Some of those people perhaps don't really have the financial means to actually pay what the (in their adrenaline rush) pledged for. Not everybody nows how to wisly spend their money.

@Dexyd, I don't think spend money on D:OS is unwise, but spend within your limit is still "common sense" level. I just wish those kick forward guys did come and take those 10k and 5k spots.

Check the KS page, Swen already said that they got the $1mil stretch goal. The few dropped pledges didn't hurt them. It is most likely pledges that are $25 or less anyway.

The PayPal pledges are still going, that will generate some more revenue.

They may not even know how many pledges are dropped. Kickstarter holds the money for two weeks, enough time for any chargebacks to happen. But I wouldn't worry too much about dropped pledges.
