Hi Guys,
Since at least some of you bought the henchman reward per KS or (like me) per Paypal want know what you think a henchman could look like what they abilities could be (i think they dont have exactly the same like source-hunter) and say what their stats could be( i think its 5 in every stat +5 when your starting the game +1 per level all together 55 at lv 20).
For defintion of stats look at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/larianstudios/divinity-original-sin/posts?page=6 but i think they already changed the indimidation factor since you can be also a very intimidating mage wink.

Somy first thougts about my hero:
- he will be a big strong hero with long black hair and an awesome beard
- he can use big strong axes, tree trunks and maces as weapons
- he is a throphyhunter and so he has a demonclaw around his neck and a lot of tatoos of hunted beasts and animals
- his biggest dream is to look a dragon into the eyes while ramming his mace on that dragonhead and watch him die
- hes has a lot of scars from the animals and monsters he killed
- his abilities could be like junping into the middle of the enemys and pushing them aside/ or teleports behind them and beat the **** out of them/ or sneak to enemys and make a surprise attack with a huge mace
- small surround damage and caging the enemys with ice or earth spells
- all kind of two-handed abilitites like with dmg and stuns etc
- mark single enemys as his prey and he/or the whole group will do 10% more dmg

his stats would be like(at lv 20)
Strength 17
Dexterity 5
Intelligience 5
Constitution 11
Speed 7
Perception 10

he would be clearly a Damage-Dealer and i would have a chance to make my heroes mages and supporters.

So thats from me what are your thougts about my henchmen what will/would yours be like?

Nice design, but possibly a bit overpowered - 20 sounds rather high for a henchman's starting level (unless he's going to be REALLY expensive to hire...) I hope there'll be some variety in the henchman designs, as well. I get the feeling we're going to see a lot of muscle-bound, axe-wielding warrior guys. wink

Yeah, i also thougt about a Goth, a Poison Ninja Women, a sneaky Cook or a Punk or an female Water-Earth mage or some kind of alll-elemantal monk(avatar wink ) but i liked the idea about the Warrior the most.
I have the design for lv 20 because there will be maybe an auto-level button for the henchman/ companions and when he reaches lv 20 he should have these stats.

A crazy guy or even worse, woman with split personalities would be a pretty funny (and scary) henchman, companion.

Could have it randomly turn on you in combat for a round or two and decide to interject in a decision making roll and decide to do the opposite of what the two main characters agreed on.

Oh boy, a guy who betrays me in combat, is obnoxious, and overrides the outcome of the main characters decisions even if they both agree. That sounds like a fun guy to have in the group. I'm sure he'll last long in anyone's party, and won't be murdered in the wilderness and left to rot at the first opportunity.

EDIT: On a more general level, it's a bit too early to be planning out a 20-level plan for the stats build of your henchmen, because the stats the game is using are probably in the process of changing, in part thanks to feedback from these forums.

Yeah but i wanted to give a general look how the warrior i imagine is, and i could have wrote high strengh low intelligience. And i think most of the stats will stay how they are, but there will be a few changes i.e. Curiosity, the indimation.

I actually like the idea that not all henchmen are good-shoes that take 500 gold as pay for a lifetime of service and simply watch you run around with tens of thousands in cash, heaps of diamonds, potions of intelligence and so on. So some of them might try to murder you at the end of a tough fight for example, when you're not doing very well. But perhaps some companions now will contain stories such as this.
