Dragon's Dogma did it perfectly and adjusted every height and weight so they would be recognized in cut scenes. The height and weight didn't just serve for cosmetic purposes either. Longer legs for example meant you could sprint faster while having extra weight (be it fat or muscle) meant you could hold more stamina but it took longer to recover and also you wouldn't be as fast as a tall or skinny person. Small characters on the other-hand were slow but due to their size, enemies had higher chance of missing them with their attacks.
