Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General is there an item highlight key in Beyond Divinity?

It's been a while since i've playe divine divinity and I cant remember if there was a key you could press(like in diablo) that will highlight items on the ground or wherever in your area.

Note that it doesn't highlight miscelanscious junk or barrels. And unlike Baldur's Gate 2, it doesn't show secret passages.

As far as I'm concerned, tha ALT button is still intact from <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />, and it shows you exactly what you need to know. This would include: Keys, Foods, Drinks, Potions, Weapons, Armour and key items. It does not however show containers, so it's worth going over each barrel and haystack to see if there's anything inside.

(8 years since last post but just bought the game..)

Is there any way to have the ALT-key active (show all items) always ? Uncle-Google couldn´t answer...

Other than holding down the Alt key? Not within the game itself.
