No. Eat chicken, drink mana potions or sleep early in the game, later use
restoration potions.
You can take over an unoccupied house in Aleroth, or just use Joram's basement.
You can combine 2 stacks of straw to make a hay bed (drag a bundle of straw onto an unbundled pile of straw, IIRC, or vise versa; left click on straw to bundle / unbundle it). If you combine straw on the ground you can not move the hay afterwards, but it can be made inside a container or directly in your inventory. There are barns in the farmlands with hay that you can sleep in (may need to talk to the farmer first).
