I gave the special flower to Chanelle, then returned to Baldini without getting the perfume from her (like and idiot). The only dialogue option I had was "I no longer have the perfume", even though she hadn't made it yet. So I failed Baldini's Bouquet.
Now, I'm working on Murders in the Rue Lanilor, and every time I try to talk to Chanelle, no dialogue will open and she just keeps saying "I haven't quite finished it yet". But it's been about three full real time days. Does this mean that I literally cannot progress any further? Has anyone else had this problem?!

That's certainly an interesting bug all right. I don't suppose you have any saved games close enough to retry?

Closest one is REALLY far back. But I don't see any other option smirk. About how long does it take Chanelle to brew the perfume?

Has the auto-save been overwritten since you failed the quest? I assume so, if you continued doing other things.

The Developer's Cut version of the game has an option in the Developer Mode cheat window to reset all NPCs in a region to their default scripts.

If you are playing DKS, try emailing support@larian.com, with a description of the problem. They may be able to fix your save.

Chanelle should be done with the perfume after you leave her shop, enter another building and then return.

Perhaps another option would be if you have the Developer's Cut to use the developer's mode cheat menu to give yourself the perfume and return to Baldini and complete the quest. This might fix Chanelle once the quest is marked complete. I'd be slow to reset all NPCs in case that affected something else.

Having the perfume in the inventory could possibly break Chanelle out of her associated dialog (worth a shot, anyway), but TaraTrichinosis already failed the quest, so Baldini is gone.

It would be a good idea to save before using the Developer Mode to reset NPCs, and reload if it doesn't help. I'm not sure what the range is (as an indoor area, the region could just be Chanelle's house).
