Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Name for Tovarah/Regnox youtube channel

Hello everybody!

So let me explain this, I and Tovarah have decided to create a gaming youtube channel (how original). We plan on doing a let's play of D : OS and record matches of Dragon Commander to begin with and then start doing other stuff.
The problem is that we don't know what to call it. Our current idea would be ScotnSwiss but we aren't certain yet. That's why we're here, what would you consider as a suitable name?

i think that name is rather cute

I of course am planning on making narrative screenshot LP's of these games as well, but the SA forums have a 3-month rule, so they can't be posted until 3 months after the game's release. I probably won't start my Dragon Commander LP until after I finish Original Sin, so I won't miss any references or cross-pollinated backstory.

For the name giving: is it the purpose people can recognize fast your Youtube channel go about a "Let's Play ..." ?

If yes, maybe (just "an" example) ...
"Watch /Enjoy /Look (at this:) a Let's Play by ScotnSwiss" ...


If not "ScotnSwiss is fine
Or: "ScotnSwiss Show ScotnSwiss"

Just "an" idea .. hope it helps to bring up new ideas

The name is not all too relevant, it's the content that will determine your value.

Your current choice is good enough, it rolls easily enough off the tongue.

Yeah, it sounds good and is easy to remember; that's all that matters, really.

Me, I've been planning for about half a year now to make LPs (and only LPs) of most games I backed on KS (e.g. D:OS) and some others (e.g. D:DC) - starting with Shadowrun Returns, I suppose -, split across three channels to keep people from complaining about using multiple languages on a channel and with color-themed names for a number of little reasons that aren't really apparent at first glance. I'll mostly divide them by genre, but some games will eventually be on more than one channel. If all goes to plan, that is. /rambling

ScotnSwiss has a nice ring on the ears. I also like LC´s suggestion, but maybe this is too much of an insider
