I know many of you will disagree with me but in my own personal opinion I now know why Game-stop had to put their own pre-order addition on extreme discount and that is simply because the game is so bad.
I know the game is old so it's not going to be very expensive but for the same store who has it's name on the case to sell the game for only eight dollars says quite a lot about how well the game was moving and what kind of faith they've had in it.
I've got a borrowed copy that someone else loaned to me because they didn't particularly like it and I know why the edition or volume the was purchased is very glitchy both with the audio and visuals for what reasons I don't know.
My main concern is with the AI being the same difficulty no matter what level you choose to start out with.
I myself do initial run throughs on whatever the easiest difficulty level is just to get a feel for the game and this game has no actual "true" easy mode like so many other RPG's I've played in the past so the constant one hit deaths I've endured in this game are a joke and shouldn't be happening on the casual level but again this game or at least this addition wasn't to well put together from my viewpoint which is the reason for so many things happening that a good game wouldn't have including lots of frame rate lag, random infinite falls and disappearing blocks which will end with you falling through the ground to be reset which can then in certain cases lead to the infinite loading or falling glitch.
I've noticed after playing the game for thirty minutes it wants to slow up or completely freeze which I suspect has more to do with my console than the game itself but with the inability to actually play the game due to exaggerated AI damage on casual/easy and the random annoying glitches I don't think I would spend the money on another Larian game unfortunately.
